Creating Quotes in HITEK
The HITEK platform allows you to create professional quotes for architectural film, paint protection film, and automotive tint directly from your dashboard. Each quote follows a guided process so you can capture customer information, build the job, and send the quote for approval.
Once you log into your dashboard, open the Quotes section from the left navigation menu. This page shows all existing quotes and allows you to search or filter them by job type. To begin a new quote, click Create Quote in the bottom right corner.
Architectural Quotes
Architectural projects are built by calculating the total square footage of the windows being covered.
After selecting Architectural as the job type, enter the customer’s information and appointment details. If the customer already exists in your system, you can select them from your database instead of entering their information manually.
Next you will move to the job builder where the film type is selected. Architectural films are organized into three categories.
Security films include options such as Security Clear, Anti Graffiti, and Security Dyed.
Solar control films include Ceramic DR, Ceramic Clear, Hybrid DR, Silver Reflective, Neutral View, Exterior Silver Reflective, and Bronze.
Privacy films include Black Out, White Out, and Frost.
Once the film is selected, the windows for the project are added. Each window requires the height, width, and quantity of identical windows. The system automatically calculates the square footage and updates the job total in real time.
If the project includes multiple window sizes, simply repeat the process for each size. Notes can also be added to document project details such as access requirements, installation conditions, or scheduling considerations.
The pricing section allows you to confirm or adjust the price per square foot before the quote is finalized. Photos of the property or window layout can also be uploaded for documentation.
After reviewing the total square footage and pricing summary, you can move to the final step and select the payment structure before sending the quote to the customer.
PPF Quotes
PPF quotes follow a slightly different process because pricing depends on vehicle size, protection zones, and package selection.
Start by selecting PPF as the job type. After entering the customer and appointment information, you will move to the vehicle details section.
Choose the correct vehicle category since vehicle size affects pricing. Then enter or scan the VIN and confirm the vehicle’s make, model, and year.
Once the vehicle information is verified, you can build the PPF job. Individual protection zones can be added such as luggage areas, pillar roof sections, door edges, headlights, or rocker panels. Each selected zone automatically adds pricing based on your preset configuration.
You can also select a full package such as PPF Ultra, PPF Ultra Matte, Black PPF, or White PPF. When a package is selected the pricing updates automatically.
Additional services can be added in the extras section. This might include services such as tint removal, ceramic coating, or other add on work. If needed, you can create a custom extra or manually override the pricing using the custom price field.
Vehicle photos can also be uploaded to document the condition of the vehicle before installation.
After reviewing the total cost and job details, select the payment structure and send the quote to the customer.
Automotive Tint Quotes
Automotive quotes are structured around vehicle type, window coverage, and the film package selected.
After choosing Automotive as the job type, enter the customer and appointment information and then move to the vehicle details step. Select the correct vehicle category and confirm the VIN, make, model, and year.
The job builder allows you to select the coverage requested by the customer. Options may include full vehicle tint, front windows only, rear windows only, or individual windows.
Additional services such as sun strips, windshields, or sunroofs can be added if the customer requests them.
Next, select the tint package. Options may include standard film, carbon IR, ceramic IR, ceramic plus, hybrid, ceramic pro, or ceramic ultra depending on the configuration in your system. Pricing automatically adjusts based on the package selected.
Extras such as tint removal or other services can also be added before finalizing the quote. If needed, photos can be uploaded to document the vehicle.
Once the job is built, review the total price and select the payment structure. When everything looks correct, send the quote to the customer.
Managing Quotes Efficiently
Creating quotes inside the HITEK platform keeps customer information, pricing, and job details organized in one place. Each quote follows the same structured process which helps reduce errors and ensures consistent pricing.
By using the built in job builders for architectural film, PPF, and automotive tint, shops can quickly generate accurate quotes and send them to customers for approval without needing additional tools or paperwork.
